Prayer in the Parking Lot
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16
We believe in the power of prayer, the laying on of hands, and miracles. Our location is in a business center with several other businesses and a hotel at the far end of the parking lot, an ideal place for praying for others. We set up our command post right in the middle of the parking lot. As people are driving through, we stop them and offer the gift of prayer for whatever their needs are. It is amazing how God always sends those who really need prayer and deliverance. Many are surprised that we would offer prayer without asking for anything in return.
Praying for one another is one of the best ways to express God’s love, and we have many proven stories and testimonies of how God answered our prayers. For example, one gentleman drove through the parking lot after leaving a DUI class. He received Christ that day. Another gentleman was being driven by his wife to a 30-day drug rehabilitation facility. He was grateful for our prayers, and he left assured that that day was the beginning of a new start in his life. Praying for others is just our reasonable service.
